about me

My name is Dr. Eric Cheung and I'm a Psychiatrist who happens to be Religious. I’ve spent 18 years studying the fields of business, law and medicine. We’re not talking about dabbling here. We’re talking about passing the CPA examination, being barred in the state of NY, and becoming a licensed physician. But it was never about the books or the classrooms. It was about understanding how the world works.

The world is a crazy place. A place where people say one thing but do something else. A place where ego plays too large of a role in big decisions. A place where we are silenced and unseen through the openness of social media. It’s a place of contradiction and angst. It’s a place where only a few dreams ever make it to fruition.

But there’s something beautiful when you begin to see the world through the lens of Psychiatry and Religion. Psychiatry is meant to help you understand yourself with our knowledge of biology, psychology, and emotions. Religion is meant to help you understand your growth and your connection to the rest of the world. When combined, the roadmap is obvious and clear.

When I discovered the link, I wanted to share it with the world! But there was one problem…

The world doesn’t care about Psychiatry and Religion…

Not yet at least. Both Psychiatry and Religion have controversial histories. So there’s a lot of clean up work that needs to be done. Who has time for this? And how can it benefit you? Those are the questions that need to be answered to flourish in a free market.

The name "Chez Eric" refers to my "home" and this is your official invitation. It is a place where we explore how understanding your life through the lens of Psychiatry and Religion can help you achieve your goals. We’re talking about health goals, monetary goals, fulfillment goals, the sky's the limit.

Sounds too good to be true? I’m making promises I can’t keep? You’re right, I am.

My core values

I’m religious, so this has to be number 1 for me.

Jesus showed us something awesome. But it might not be what you think.

I’ve wasted a lot of time not doing this. And I’ve saved a lot of time doing this.

Humans are animals. And that’s okay. Not recognizing that bears bad news.

Errrr…Chez Eric PRL is going to take a while…

I can’t stop learning! It might be a future DSM disorder!

I want to provide you with so much value that the money you spend on my products and services feels like charity.

Anything I make with Chez Eric PRL will go directly back into Chez Eric PRL so it can grow, allowing it to reach more and more people.

I’ve learned that nothing I do can save everyone. But everything I do can give others the opportunity to move forward in their life.

There will be a (hopefully small) group of people who hate me. That’s okay.

what happens if you put 1000 high performers in a room?

Can you imagine 1000 selfless high performers who regularly make high-stake decisions and sacrifices for the sake of humankind?
